We represented the Applicant husband and wife in the case Kevin and Jennifer v The Attorney General for the Commonwealth SY8136/99, where, on 12th October, 2001 the Honourable Justice Richard Chisholm of the Family Court of Australia, declared the law of Australia to be that the marriage between our clients was a legally valid marriage; notwithstanding that the husband is a man of transsexual background.
